Thimphu – Punakha and Wangdue: Morning journey from Thimphu to Punakha and Wangdue (approximately 75 km – 2-3 hours). PM visit Punakha Dzong and Chimi Lhakhang. In the afternoon, visit the town of Wangdue and its market.
Day 04
Punakha and Wangdue – Paro: Morning journey from Punakha and Wangdue to Paro (approximately 125 km – 3-4 hours). En route, visit Simtokha Dzong. Evening visit to Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong.
Day 05
Stop – In the morning, visit Taktshang Monastery. En route, also visit Dzongdrakha Temple. In the afternoon, drive to Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang.

Punakha and Wangdue: In the morning visit Khamsum Yuelley Namgel Chorten, Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang (Nun’s nunnery). PM visits Talo Village

Punakha and Wangdue – Bumthang: Morning transfer from Punakha and Wangdue to Bumthang (approximately 205 km – 6-7 hours). Stop en route at Chendbji Chorten

Bumthang – In the morning, visit Tamshing Lhakhang, the treasure house of fascinating Buddhist religious paintings, and then visit Jakar Dzong, the administrative center of the valley. In the afternoon, visit Kurje Lhakhang and Jambay Lhakhang.
