Top attractions in Nepal.

2.  Pokhra Valley

Pokharam offers a range of high-end hotels and clean, comfortable guesthouses popular for adventure sports like parasailing and other fun activities such as rowing on the calm waters of the lake. The dark and cavernous Mahendra Gufa Cave, Tal Varahi Temple, Temple Tree Resort and Spa, Fish Tail Lodge, verdant forests, blue skies, underground caves, waterfalls, Orchid Valley, glacial massifs, and majestic views of three mountains—Mt. Manslu, Mount Dhaulagiri, and Mount Annapurna—are among the main tourist attractions. An early start in the morning to Sarangkot, the International Mountain Museum, or taking a meditation or yoga course, boating on the Trishuli River, and the freshwater Rupa Tal Lake, where there are sailing opportunities for all types of tourists, are also popular.

3. Jankpur

Janakpur was once the capital of an ancient Indian kingdom known as Mithila. It is the birthplace of the goddess Sita and the site of her marriage to Lord Ram, and is also known for its more than 100 sacred pools. The enormous 19th-century marble structure is the largest temple in Nepal.

4. Trekking to Everest and Base Camp

Mount Everest, the world’s tallest mountain, is famous for hiking and climbing. All trekkers are technically required to have a guide. The best time for trekking is from March to May and from September to December. If you don’t enjoy hiking but still want to see the mountain, it’s possible to view it on clear days from the mountain town of Nagarkot, near Kathmandu.

5. National Park
